| Introduction | I am a birth doula, massage therapist and health and wellness consultant. I explore what it means to find health and wellness, specifically surrounding birth, and how I can support women in their own discovery of this. As far as I can tell, health, wellness and birth are not events that take place or a location in which someone arrives, but rather, an ongoing process where you learn, discover, grow and unfold into yourself. And hopefully you have wonderful support along the way. Why the blog? Because each day in my interactions with my clients I discover how removed we are as a culture from the experience of birth. Because each day I have experiences at births or related to births and maybe I can bring people a little closer to this mysterious process that teaches me something new every single time. And because it’s nice to have an outlet for my musings and questions related to birth and health. |
