| Introduction | I am a professional quilter in Canada. I am also a survivor of 30 years of severe domestic violence. When I say "severe" I'm not being dramatic, just honest. But I survived and have since been dealing with PTSD and all that it entails. Although PTSD is life changing, I know from experience that it can be managed and hopefully even conquered to a point as long as I'm diligent in my self-care and accept support when it is offered and helpful. Quilting keeps me focused and busy enough to remind me to look to the future; while my other passion keeps me focused on the much more distant past. I am also an Archivist and Genealogist, focusing on family trees and trying to solve the "brick walls" that get in the way. Capt Jesse Gray is my brick wall but I'm determined to figure him out. My work here is not done. |
