Favorite Movies Willy Wonka (the original not the crap new one), Godfathers 1 & 2 but not 3, Goodfellas, 12 Angry Men, The Illustrated Man (oooh want to see that again!), Meet the Family (and SO not my type of film ....!), Frida, ET (with guns...), Schindler's List, Diving Bell and the Butterfly, original Planet of the Apes, Grease, and Ghostbusters!, Seance on a Wet Afternoon as seen recently on Film Four, Great Gatsby with gorgeous Bobby Redford, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Quadrophenia, Madness of King George, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Jamon Jamon!, Notes on a Scandal, Fargo (oh yes, I loved it and forgot it for a while...!), The Shining (Aaaaaargh - scariest ever....!), Delicatessen (I forgot about that film too ... LOVED it!!), wow this is a struggle you know - trying to find films I love, I did recently enjoy Perfume but more for the story and the story is better as an audio book, umm what other films, Sexy Thing (I think that's what it's called..), Casino, the original B&W Titanic (but haven't seen/won't see the 'new' one!), The English Patient, Nightmare before Christmas (look at this look at that!!), Jaws, all Hammer House of Horrors, Vera Drake for tears, The Householder (the first Ivory-Merchant), Persepolis (bloody brilliant!), Matrix (yeah watched in on DVD again tonight!), all the Blade films, SEX AND THE CITY ( but only for the good memories it brings up), Caramel (and now I want to go to Beirut!), Milk, Lars & the real Girl, The Ghost & Mrs Muir (wonderful!), The Ring (both versions), Shutter (scary!)
Favorite Music it would take me a day to list it all! Let's make a start though: early Springsteen, Meatloaf (yeah!), Amy Winehouse'ish, The Jam, Pirate Songs (a la Rogues Gallery, Rolling Stones, Ash, Eliza Carthy, Harry Belafonte (!), Kasabian, Paddy Casey, Macy Gray, (Yes I am looking at my Itunes lists!), Gomez (love Gomez!), Rodrigo & Gabriela, Abba man, Boby Marley mannnnn, Eminem dude, The Flaming Lips, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, Blondie!, Louis Armstrong, Dire Straits, The Monkees, Miles Davis, Nina Simone, Pink Martini, Paolo Conte ......
Favorite Books it would take me a week to list them all! Let's start with authors, Amis (both), Gabriel Garcia-Marquez, Isabell Allende, William Golding, Graham Greene, Iain Banks, Jeremy Paxman (really funny!), someone Robinson for easy airplane novels, JKR for flying and crying!, George Orwell, Jules Verne (funny funny stuff!), a book called Tenderwire, those books about the vicar/priest who does a bit of investigating
