| Introduction | I was born and raised in New Orleans,LA.I've been a football fan since the age of 7 when I attended my first Saints game against the Pittsburg Steelers.Back then,the Saints motto was,"we lost the game but we won the brall".Characters such as Doug Atkins and Steve Stonebreaker lead a crew of castoffs and misfits which ignited a city's inner flame into the greatest fan base in sports. As a Boy Scout, I ushered at Tulane football games. This helped me witness the greatest game in TU history (the 1972 9-3 loss to Bert Jones' LSU.'73's 14-0 victory was almost as great but no Bert Jones). I've been hooked on NFL and college football since. With a keen interest in LSU and the Saints,I also follow the national scene as well.The NBA and college baseball also interest me and I'll occasionally write on these topics as well. |
