I've settled in Boston for its vibrant traditional music community, dense cultural offerings, many different audiences/venues within driving distance, proximity to a real international airport and abundance of forest and beach-side destinations. I've really invested in Boston, founding the 13-year strong Boston Celtic Music Fest and committing to my students and fellow musicians. Receiving the Traditional Arts Fellowship from the Massachusetts Cultural Council earlier this year was an uplifting nod of support from my adopted home. |
