Introduction	We are a family of 4 on just under 4 acres that wants to be more self reliant. Everything we do here is for our own education and food production. We have 6 goats that we raise for milk and to sell the kids. 5 calves that we are raising for our own meat. Currently have approx 40 hens that are laying with 40 more coming up. We reuse and make do with what we have and come up with some pretty unique items. We planted fruit and nut trees in the front yard which is off limits to the animals but we mow it and bag it for the animals to eat.We also have our container garden and raised beds in the front. We turned an old semi trailer into a storage container and have reused wooden shipping containers into mini barns! Glad you have come by to learn along with us!
Interests	Gardening, chickens, goats, cattle, fish, anything that we can raise in our back yard!
