| Introduction | I'm a disabled cop from south Florida. I got hit in the head with a flashbang while working an undercover heroin buy-bust. Two month later I was in a shootout with a cocaine drug trafficker. I was not shot, I was using a Beamer for cover. The bad guy went to the morgue. I am not proud of having taken a life, but I'm a survivor and life goes on. Due to the post-concussion syndrome and PTSD, I received a disability from the police department in 1994. I moved to north Florida to get away from the madness. I was born in Habana, Cuba and emigrated to Miami in 1961. I'm a naturalized citizen. I'm a widow, a mom, a thinker and a voter. I tolerate zombies, but I hate clowns. I try to live by the Golden Rule and believe in a zero-drug tolerance. |
