| Introduction | Slifer Designs, one of the nation’s top residential interior design firms, had a modest yet visionary start in 1984 by its founder, Beth Slifer. Beth is described by business associates as an innovative, astute businesswoman and entrepreneur. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and with an MBA from the University of Chicago, Beth is the driving force in both vision and artistic direction at Slifer Designs. Beth’s entrepreneurial and businesswoman’s approach to design has attracted an impressive loyal client list and has earned a substantial amount of recognition from numerous national and regional publications and installation of every project. Beth volunteers for numerous community boards and non-profit organizations in addition to funding projects that benefit the educational, economic and cultural goals of the community. Beth’s husband, Rod, is a principal of Slifer, Smith and Frampton, the leading real estate brokerage in the Vail Valley as well as mayor for the Town of Vail. Beth and Rod along with their daughter, Alexandra, reside in Vail. |
