| Introduction | Dr. Williams was born in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas where she received a B.A. in biology and an M.S. in electrical and biomedical engineering. While in Austin, she joined IBM as the first woman engineer to work in their product development laboratory. Her 27 year career at IBM brought her to Connecticut, New York, and California. Besides product development, she worked in manufacturing engineering, IP licensing, sales and marketing. She holds 5 U.S. patents, including the invention known as “print preview”. In 1999, Dr. Williams joined Ampro Computers where she was President and CEO for 9 years. One of her greatest passions has always been health and nutrition. In December, 2007, Dr. Williams received her Ph.D. in holistic nutrition from Clayton College of Natural Health. In April, 2008, she left Silicon Valley and moved to Sebastopol, CA where she devotes her time to nutrition research. Dr. Williams is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. She recently published the ebook "Health Begins in the Kitchen", available on iTunes and Amazon . |
