| Introduction | My mom and I are both going through a difficult journey together. My mom has been diagnosed with Dementia, COPD, and Congestive Heart Failure. Our life growing up was not an ideal ‘mother and daughter relationship’, but I am working on finishing our last chapter together with no regrets. By sharing our moments, I am able to keep our family and friends up-to-date on her progress. Journaling is my therapeutic solution. To my surprise our story has turned into a love story. For all the daughters, sons, spouses, parents, or grandchildren who may be going through a similar situation or who may have gone through this in their past with a loved one may they also find this therapeutic. |
