Introduction I became a Christian in July of 1973. Since that time I have involved myself in a serious persuit of the truth and validity of Bible prophecy and its relevance to Chrisians and mankind in general. As a result of my research I have become convinced that, in terms of the Apocalypse, the expectations of the Apostles and the first Christians is best represented by eventful circumstances which marked the end of the Temple (in A.D.70) and the termination of the Jewish State (in A.D.135).
Interests Jewish History. Christian History, exegetical concerns, Atavist Biblicism, healthy eating (the GenoType Diet)
Favorite Movies Passion of the Christ.
Favorite Books Bar Kokhba by Yigael Yadin.

Why did Jesus and the Apostles believe and teach that the apocalypse would happen within the lifetime if such would prove not to be true? And if time has proved them wrong or terribly premature in their "guesses" does that fact make a difference in the truth claims of Chrisianity?
