You can whistle and steam can whistle, so why do you sing in the shower?
Steam isn't coming out of a small opening at a high pressure in order to make a whistle, in the shower. I guess I sing in the shower because it's the best place to sing. The acoustics are awesome and the steam works with your vocal chords perfectly, if I must add steam into my answer...
