| Introduction | … Alas, Poor Yorick is (are, was, will be) an Austin, Texas band conceived a long time ago in a silly place (don’t ask)… and dedicated to the silly notion that people are going to ask silly questions about what the band's silly name means no matter how many times we explain it…silly really. Several (and we man “several”) years of association have led to a musical mélange of original, song-oriented rock & amp; roll, folk & amp; roll, blues/swing/jazz, and the like... Musings: the silly (of course), the philosophical, the profane, the profound,.. and sometimes we let Woody near a microphone...it's all very technical, but we figure you can handle it...So come, marinate in the uber-dramatical pastiche (yeah, we had to look it up too)...do join us!...
