| Introduction | I grew up in a waterfront town a few miles from Salem, MA. Salem became the perfect location for my first ghost story. For my urban fantasy setting, I chose Newport, RI, where we lived for eleven years. In May 2016, my husband and I left the Northeast and retired to Florida. Quite a different setting. I'm excited to discover what writing it inspires. Here in the Sunshine State my day usually begins at the pool and ends at the keyboard. My husband and I live with two fresh kitties, Sammy and Jasper who keep us firmly under their paws. We've also been blessed with a son and two beautiful granddaughters. I'm an avid reader-fiction or non-fiction, but my writing veers to fantasy, paranormal, or horror. My short story, Micah's Gift, is published online in Black Petals Magazine. Currently, I'm shopping a horror novel and working on an urban fantasy trilogy. My blog's name, Haunted Pen, came from the fact that strange things occur when I start to write. Unintended psychic experiences, ghosts, or demons creep into my stories. I've finally accepted and honored my pen's ghostly inclinations. Welcome to Haunted Pen |
