| Introduction | Born in Colorado, raised mostly there with time in Maryland, Pakistan, Australia, Israel and visits to points in between. Educated as a registered nurse, but not currently practicing. Married with 7 children and a foster daughter. Five children are basically out of home, either in college or married. The foster daughter is youngest (10). I enjoy peace and quiet, so it is rather a lifelong joke that I ended up being mother to such a brood. I love getting up early and going to bed early, putting me at odds with most teenagers. |

| Favorite music | I love classical piano and orchestra music, especially romantic period. Classical church music and choral work is wonderful to me. I love and play folk harp, piano and organ. I like recordings by Sissel, Phil Coulter, Broadway musicals. |
| Favorite books | Very eclectic. I read religious works, John Grisham, Agatha Christie, Jodi Picoult, Shakespeare, Ann Marrow Lindburgh, Deborah Tannen and many others. |
