| Introduction | Hello and welcome to my blog! I'm excited you're here! In 2006 I left a very stressful career in local government to become a stay-at-home mom to my 4 children. My decision came as quite a shock to many of my extended family and friends who couldn't envision me in a domestic role. Never one to back down from a challenge, I was determined to prove that I had made the right decision. In my early pursuit at domesticity, I started baking cookies. As my baking abilities became more advanced I soon had those early naysayers eating their words...literally! Emilylovescookies is my personal blog endeavor to provide a supportive outlet for stay-at-home moms who want to share the joys of domesticity while finding their own unique niche. |
