Introduction	I've been in love with animals my whole life. Unfortunately, my overly sentimental personality precluded pursuing a career with them, because I get way too attached. Instead of becoming a zoologist or veterinarian, my career involves working with a different subspecies of animal: teenagers. I teach high school. Both career paths require patience and compassion, but the teenagers laugh at my jokes and feign interest in Mythology, so I do enjoy that quite a bit.
