Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
I would use my Grandma's ancient apple peeler from the fifties. It's a magical contraption that clamps onto the edge of a counter, secures the core of the apple in a horizontal position while a peeler blade rotates around the circumfrence of the apple. It leaves a nice, thin ringlet of apple peel.
