| Introduction | Tom Burroughs has been writing about science and health since the early 1970s. He has stopped along the way at the American Chemical Society, Technology Review magazine, Air & Space/Smithsonian (where he was the magazine's first senior editor), and the Burroughs Wellcome Fund (where he was not related to the pharmaceutical pioneer Silas Burroughs). In a previous Duke connection, he edited the original print versions of Duke Research magazine. |
