Introduction So this is the bit where I have to say things about me. Hmmm...What I can say??? I guess this is exactly the question that led me to creating this blog. 'Who am I'? I decided to write a blog for pretty selfish reasons actually. I am writing it mainly for myself, as a way of blackmailing me into exploring myself and sharing this journey with the world. Too long I have lived and hidden behind the shadows of my masks and missed out on the joy and magnificence of life. I don't want that anymore, don't need the masks anymore. So, with this blog I want to take a stand for authenticity, honesty and curiosity and I want to share with the world the journey of the exploration and creation of Anni.
Interests I like to do lots and lots of different things and I have a tendency to get a little bit obsessive once I found something that 'rocks my boat'. Right now I love: Tango (I'm actually taking Tango lessons), Singing, Yoga, Running, Meditating and Dancing. I'm interested in people. I'm interested spiritual, transpersonal, psychological and therapeutic topics. I like having meaningful conversations with people and I like the feeling of connection.
Favorite Movies I'm one of those annoying people who can't remember if they've seen a film before and then, once the film starts, remember they have and start telling everyone else exactly what happens next. My memory just does not contain any information about films, books or music and I'm always dreading the question, 'so, what are your favourite films? or books? or what's your favourite band?' I don't know!!! So, I'm finding out about it. Equipped with pen and paper (since I can't rely on my memory), I'm out and about reading, watching and listening, and taking note of what I like. So far, in the category of films I like: Little Miss Sunshine, Curb your Enthusiasm (I know its not a film), The Pursuit of Happiness, Pulp Fiction
Favorite Music I like pop, rock, indie, soul, rock'n roll, tango music, reggae, electro - basically a little bit of everything
Favorite Books I read a lot of books about life, its struggles and how to move through them. I'm a student of the transpersonal self-study book A Course in Miracles, I read Marianne Williamson and I also love reading fiction and crime stories. And my all time favourite is listening to audibooks for 'grown-up children' like Harry Potter.
