| Introduction | This blog documents the adventure of moving from snowy Cleveland, OH - to Placencia, Belize! I moved to Belize in 2014 with my husband and dog - we bought a small resort on the Caribbean Sea, and we have been building it into a tropical paradise ever since. We were honored to win the 2017 Belize Tourism Board Small Accommodation of the Year. We expanded to a second hotel in 2018 with PUR Boutique Cabanas in San Pedro, Belize.
