| Introduction | Casey and I met 3 years ago while attending school at Westminster College. Casey instantly, and unknowingly, swept me off my feet. But Heavenly Father had other plans for me and teaching me patience happened to be one of them. Casey left to serve his mission in England and we remained good friends. While he was gone I had many wonderful experiences that taught me so much and shaped the person that I am. When Casey returned two years later we picked right back up as good friends. Luckily for me, this didn't last long. During the summer of 2010 Casey took me to his family's cabin in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. On the very first day of our stay Casey held my hand, told me he loved me, and kissed me. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world! 24 hours later we had decided that we wanted to spend eternity together and began making plans to visit my family in NC to get their blessings. That trip was made in August of 2010. Casey surprised me and proposed on the last day of our stay with my parents. We were sealed for time and all eternity in the Bountiful LDS Temple on December 17, 2010. My life is proof that fairy tales really do come true. |
