| Introduction | i'm a former human rights lawyer turned phd student, studying poverty law & women's rights, who dreams about a different existence - one in which the world is a better place, and my research is unnecessary. a world where i sit in cafes all day, with my favourite people, drinking great coffee and white wine, lusting after good fashion + art, reading witty books, smoking cigarettes (because in my dream world, they don't kill you), listening to fantastic moody indie-rock and eating mounds of decadent pastries. ideally, i am marianne faithful living in paris in the 1960s. as this doesn't seem likely anytime soon, this blog is where i escape and fulfill this fantasy... |
