Introduction Well hmm let's see, I am the youngest of six kids. When I say youngest I mean way younger...the next one to me is 7 years older and the oldest one is 24 years older. I had many influences in my life with my siblings being that much different in age. Kinda like having several sets of parents because two of them have children older then me. I also have a nephew born on the same day as me. I was a widow at age 30. I married my childhood sweetheart I guess you can say. I was 15 when we met he was 19. We had one child who is now grown with two children of her own. Being a grandma is one of my greatest joys. I have also often said that my daughter is my biggest accomplishment. My family is the most important thing in my life. I have a few friends and a lot of acquaintences I say. I don't find having a lot of friends important an have never wanted a lot of them. I much rather have just a few that I am really close to. I would prefer to be a good friend to a couple rather then a bad friend to several. I want to be able to be there for my friends. Anyways, I guess having only 1200 words available for this it is going to have to be done!!
Interests My grandchildren, crafting, cooking, taking long rides, Trying new types of food There are a lot of things that interest me. Practically everything has something interesting about it. Some things just make me want to know more then others. So, the picture you see is me, in the back on the right, my Mother, my daughter and my grandaughter.
Favorite Movies Chocolat, Life is Beautiful, Meet me in St.Louis, Eat, Pray, Love. The Wizard of Oz, I have a few more but I can't think of them right at this moment
Favorite Music I love all sorts of music when the mood is right. I am not huge on Opera but there are a few voices that I enjoy listening to even though they are more of a opera singer. Like Sarah Brightman, Andrea Bocelli. Mostly I like the adult alternative genre and of course the old time rock and roll!!
Favorite Books Girl of the Limberlost. Fountainhead, Wicked, There are quite a few more as well but that is the top three I think.
