Introduction	HI, I my name is Mim. Mim is a shortcut between Mum (of three) and Stephanie (the little girl I used to be back in the seventies). I speak "Frenglish", a mix of French, where I come from, and English. I've adopted Australia 11 years ago but I still have now and then, weird sentences, missing words, and an unusual spelling ... Please forgive me! I have the fondest memories of my childhood. Of the games I've played, the stories I've read, the castles I've built, the dragons I've fought, the travels I've imagined ... I remember my bedspread, the pictures of my bedroom's walls, the details of the little illustration on my porcelain tea set ... Everything was thrilling then. It felt good to be a kid, and luckily for us growing up was a slow process. Today I still marvel on tea sets, dress ups and dolls, much more than i ever will on diamond rings and all grownups things...
