| Introduction | 40-something mother of two daughters. Their adoptions were wondrous events filled with joy, tears and humility for us. Their adoptions also meant great loss for two very special women. We heart those women with all of our souls. Goose and Lili are "of" me as much as any bio child could be. Married for 19 years to Ivan who is my best friend. Why am I here? Endometriosis and aging eggs. We chose adoption first and now will add our names to the IVF dance card for the sake of "carpe diem". |
