| Introduction | Hello world, My name is Mike, and I truly believe that I am not special. I'm an average guy. I'm not ugly but not great looking. I'm a bit tall (6'3"). I'm about 60 lbs overweight and I don't have any particular skill that sets me apart. I lead a normal life of family, work and education. I have a healthy amount of friends. Like I said, "nothing special." Now don't misunderstand. I have no intention of self deprecation. I merely believe that I'm just another face in a crowd. I'm important to those around me, and they are important to me. I'm just not special....yet. This blog is going to be my way of tracking my journey. I want to become someone special. Someone I will be proud to look in the eye when I brush my teeth at night. I have created a world of fantasy, wishes, and dreams in which I am my own hero. I want to make that a reality. I want to compete in triathlons, not just complete them. I want to run a marathon and be able to brag about my time. I want to provide the type of life my beautiful wife Kristy and incredible daughter Ryleigh deserve. I want to be the man my parents raised. Welcome to Freementia |
