| Introduction | Im a fat expat living in Dubai. This is "Confessions of a fat expat : Changing the excessive Dubai Lifestyle". If you are in the same "boat up the creek" as me, I hope you will relate to some of my blogs and know you are not alone or unusual. We are all unique but sometimes its inspirational to be motivated by anothers struggle and subsequent success. So share your pain and effort with me, understand my frustrations, tears and tantrums and help me reach my goal and yours together. Or just have a laugh and make fun at a fat expat in Dubai. For those who are reading, my motivational best buddie is LL, not her real name but her nickname, but I could not been motivated to change my life without her so HUGE thanks to you LL. And also to OFC who commenced Mirdif Boot camps, how can I ever have an excuse not to move my ass ever again! Roll on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for the whole of 2011. HUA!! |

| Favorite movies | Too many to mention, most recently "Tangled" but still enjoy the predictable Dirty Dancing, Cocktail, Fame, Flashdance, Ghost etc. Give me a girlie movie, my girlies and some bubbles and we would have a great nights entertainment. |
| Favorite music | So many so little time, currently Linkin Park, Juliana Down, Katy Perry and Pink. I have to dedicate some Abba to LL. |
| Favorite books | Michael McIntyres "memoires" made me laugh out loud, anything about women's fight for survival and equal rights in the Middle East or under Islam. All non-fiction, not much of the fictional nonsense. |
