| Introduction | I began my teaching career in 2001 as an assistant in the mathematics department. I was then given the opportunity to become the Instructional Technology Specialist for a private high school in the Boston area, where I finally found my calling. I have my B.A. in Human Services from the Boston Campus of Springfield College. I am also a graduate of Cambridge College with my Masters Degree in Education with a concentration in Instructional Technology. I love to attend weekly services at the Elevation Church, Uptown Campus. I enjoy teaching, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering at the Men's Shelter in Charlotte. I am reminded daily that without my faith in my God, I could be deceived by the devil and return to my former way of living. I am truly Blessed and Highly Favored. I moved to North Carolina in 2009, to be near my family and to get away from the cold weather. My long-term goal is to teach educators at the college level. I see technology being used poorly, and I want to be able to teach educators to allow the technology to enhance their teaching, not replace it. |
