Introduction	My name is Nate Lollar. I am currently a graduate student in the Near Eastern and Judaic Studies program at Brandeis University. My academic interests span a wide variety of topics relating to the study of the ancient world. Chief among these, however, is my interest in religion. I have a fascination with the mythology, ritual, and cultic practices of ancient cultures. In this vein I am adjacently interested in sociology and anthropology insofar as it sheds light on the culture and context of the Levant, Mesopotamia, and Egypt. I also hold a Master's degree from Abilene Christian University in ministry and so part of my life is spent in a ministry context trying to read my cultural situation and live the gospel the best way I can.
