Introduction	My political views are liberal. I feel that our government should have an interest in and show support of the well-being of all its people. I am most interested in improving education standards and expanding nutritional programs for low income families. I make a point of voting often and making the most informed choice possible (though I'm definitely guilty of letting my vote hinge on last minute google searches and campaign sites). I am taking Texas Government 2306, because it is a required credit for my degree program. During this course I do hope to gain a more specific understanding of how Texas state government works.
