Introduction	I relocated with a garage band (yet was neither in the band, nor a groupie) in 1981 to San Francisco from Duesseldorf Germany. Today I try to live sustainably, grow my own vegetables, dry my clothes with solar power and am an ferocious reader, desert trekker, and environmental and food activist.
