| Introduction | There's a feeling that comes over me when I'm about to board a plane and venture off to a far away place. It's one of excitement, wonder and absolute joy. Knowing that an airplane will take me to a country that may change my life and perhaps alter my perspective, for me, is nothing short of amazing. And the idea that I get to do this when the spirit moves me, is what keeps me sane in a sometimes insanity filled world. And now that my two girls are older, they get to experience all that the world has to offer with me. I am an educator (college professor, teacher, literacy coach, school administrator, consultant) by trade, but my real love... what really thrills and excites me, is knowing that my next adventure is just a plane ride away. This blog is my way of sharing my intense love of travel with other parents who want to expose their children to our vast and inspiring world. Let's travel the world and take our kids with us! |
