Introduction | I am the senior pastor of a two-point charge in west-central Indiana. I moved here after being an associate pastor at a mid-sized church for about a year and a half. The move has been great for me, and I think my wife is even coming around on it. We've been married for 7 wonderful years and have two children of the feline variety - Buster and Lucille, and a recent addition of the canine variety - Pork Chop. |
Interests | I have a wide and varied taste in interests. I am a big sports fan. If I'm not trying to follow the St. Louis Cardinals, check my pulse because I've probably keeled over. I also enjoy the NFL, and have been playing fantasy football for about 7 seasons now. Great fun! |
Favorite Movies | We recently signed up for Netflix, which has caused me to think about movies that I want to watch. Right now on the list of favorite movies is: The Dark Knight, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Lord of the Rings, The Usual Suspects, Accepted, and the list could go on... |
Favorite Music | I generally prefer Christian alternative rock. Some of my favorite bands: Skillet, 12 Stones, Seventh Day Slumber, Red, Kutless. I also like a variety of other groups as well: Linkin Park, Jars of Clay, Chris Rice, Andrew Peterson, Jeremy Camp, P.O.D., Alabama, Mussorgsky, Gregorian Chant... yeah, it's a broad range... |
Favorite Books | Bible: Mark, Isaiah, John, Romans non-Bible: just about anything by Andy Stanley, Lord of the Rings, just about anything on baseball, Henry Nouwen, John Eldredge, and many more... |
Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
I do not believe that forks have evolved from spoons. There is no great advantage to being a fork in a difficult world such as ours, and to make such a transition is to suggest that the spork is anything but a divine gift bestowed upon us from on high.
