| Introduction | Live and let live, love and let love.. Try to make others' lives better instead of worse. Enjoy the ride cause you never know when it'll be over. No TV, no wasting away in a mushroom hut in this game of Mario, or getting left behind cause the opium got me like Passepartout.. I want to jump into the hard levels, look for the shortcuts between worlds to enhance my turn. Paying attention in the moment to moment is where real living begins in my opinion. There's a satisfying, fascinating world of never-ending wonder all around us, in the biggest and smallest things, but it's invisible to all but those who really want it and will go out on a limb to sense it. I'm in it to win it on this go. I want to beat as many levels as I can, and I'm shunning traditional methods. My compass for this expedition is to follow the feelings of peace that can't be imitated or mistaken. Good vibes and genuine interest get further with me than all the glitz the universe could offer. |
| Interests | I want SO MUCH to have a creative studio in a warehouse or the like. I thrive on making / creating / fixing / improving / learning / discovering... Love a good coffee or chill session and chat anytime anywhere. Beach, mountain, park, golf course at night, water, someone's lawn, I can lay pretty much anywhere and stare at the clouds while pondering subjects that range from watercolor to language, to molecular science, Radiolab episodes that still fascinate me to think about even years after hearing them, ways to squeeze more of the essence out of life and get the most of the short time we've been given. My mind is always going and drawing correlations between the large and the small, the spiritual and the physical, this phenomenon, and that phenomenon, etc.. I probably crank out about 100 analogies on any given day, and literally have to censor myself not to burden the people around me with all the endless philosophizing... Discovering new short cuts to happiness around each corner and learning to be aware of where the flow is headed. Not pining for the last thing or rushing to the next, but thoroughly feeling and liking the present moment. Not saying "life will be good when..." but "Look at this!" or "Tell me more". Or just by saying "Yes." I'm interested in the serendipitous, the unexpected happy surprises, the "meet cute" moments that can't be choreographed. So instead of going to college or finding a "real job" (although being a part-time flight attendant might count as at least semi-real), I've been really pouring myself into understanding how to live and abide in this state of bliss that is the center of the energy flow (I'm just calling it how I feel it, and I haven't studied or found a religion I really agree with, nor would I necessarily compare this "interest" with a full-blown religion, rather, a way of being that enhances life). |
