| Introduction | I had first blockage on 12/22/03 at 40 years old. A Cardiac CT scan revealed a large calcified area in my heart which prompted the cardiologist who I thank God for to order an angiogram. The 99% blockage was opened with a steroid coated stent. I weighed 185lbs. at the time. My second blockage was discovered two days after my 44th birthday. Number three occurred 5 months after 44th birthday which was opened with balloon angioplasty. It closed back up in two months so in May 2008 I was in for an angioplasty with steroid coated stent. A genetic disorder with my Lp(a) along with small particle LDL and low HDL was supposedly the culprit. It has been an adventure so I Created this site for patients, friends and family seeking information or questions regarding heart disease. I have learned a tremendous amount about the disease and I wanted to create a site which would share that information, encourage each other with lifestyle modifications and open a dialogue with people personally affected by the disease and hopefully help stop the advancement of it!
