| Introduction | I was born and raised in the dusty border town of El Paso, Texas by a modest middle class family. After graduating from Bowie High School on the South Side of El Paso in 1997, I moved to New York to attend Columbia University, and I stayed in New York to attend NYU in 2006. I'm currently an American Cancer Society Fellow at The Rockefeller University in the laboratory of Titia de Lange. |
