| Introduction | I consider my life to be a happy contradiction. I am evolutionary scientist and unshakable in my faith (I am a Latter Day Saint if you were wondering). I am a young, free spirit, yet I am happily married to the best man in the world named Derrick Anderson. I am socially liberal, but fiscally conservative. I always give the benefit of the doubt, but still value justice more than mercy. I question everything and have strong steadfast opinions. I want a family, but I am not a huge fan of kids. I love to listen to music, but I am uncomfortable preforming it despite having some talent for it. I am an extrovert and introvert, often at the same time.
Some would think all these contradictions would make me unsure or wary. But I feel no discord or discontentment in my thoughts or actions. These are the things that make me, "me". I see the universe full of simple principles made up of many complex processes. What makes life worth it is the chance to learn and grow. Those two things mean different things to different people and there is nothing wrong with that. What is important is that you are living your dream and contributing towards mankind in positive ways. |
| Interests | Learning, music, art, outdoors, fashion, religion, science, saving money |
| Favorite movies | Anything that has deep thought or artsy. The only types of movies I am not fond of are action movies with no dialog and over-kill "chick flicks." |
| Favorite music | Regina Specktor is #1!!! Michael Buble, System of a Down, Fiona Apple, The Mars Volta, The Fray, MAE, Black Eyed Peas, musical soundtracks and dorky Disney songs. |
| Favorite books | Too many to list. I am an avid reader. I love non-fiction and fiction alike. I suppose I like my books like I like my movies: not extremely romantic or purely action. I love a lot of foreshadowing and questioning thought. Just ask if you want book recomends! |
