| Introduction | I'm a 9 on the Enneagram, if that says anything to you. It means I like peace and harmony, so I often want to avoid anything that disrupts that. But there is a part of me that gets very angry about stuff that seems just plain wrong, and I respond emotionally. I can get on my soap box and even rant, but I only let trusted people see that part of me. Or if something ticks me off enough, whoever's around me might get a taste of it, but that's rare. I can be relaxed and enjoy lazy days, but I need a good dose of physical activity to feel really good. I go by my "gut" when trying to figure things out and I feel my thoughts and feelings very intensely in my entire body. Someone once called me "an island of peace" and I take that as one of the greatest compliments anyone has ever given me. I have a lot of questions about life and God and religion, and sometimes wish it wasn't all so complicated, but I try to make the best of living in the tension of the now and the not yet. |
