| Introduction | Hi, I’m a salesman at one of the leading apparel stores in chic South Ex market, in the heart of South Delhi. I help you select matching ties with shirts for your next interview, pick and choose gifts for your mother in law’s birthday and patiently listen to your profanities when you come to swap your garb after 20 days when the receipt clearly states a 15 day exchange policy. Life at the store is anything but boring; where else do you get to dress gorgeous women in clothes of your choice! Sometimes I do feel guilty for convincing you to buy two skirts, one purse and a perfume, when all you came looking for was a black trouser… but I have targets to meet! I try to enjoy my job and smile, after all customers dislike gloomy, sad faces, but this is not how I dreamt my life.. I didn’t plan to be a salesman. At the store you usually address me as “Excuse me”.. here you can call me Mr Salesman. |
