Introduction	Justin has found his artistic voice through contemporary expressionism. It may seem that his relationship to Art is a means for expressing emotional states, but he describes his work as: “a process of removing oneself and becoming a vessel for Art and emotions to reveal themselves to the canvas .” This process requires being present. Allowing potential artistic expression to spill out on to the canvas. To Justin, developing a relationship with Art as a "living entity" which needs to be expressed, allows an unraveling of images... found or lost onto the canvas. Letting go of notions such as “making art” we can remove blocks and start expressing Art. Setting aside our egos, we start to see things which otherwise would go unseen. Through this practice of removing the “I” from the artistic process, Justin keeps finding what he never knew he was looking for. He says: “allowing Art to explore itself through me, is one of the greatest highs I've ever felt.” His work aims at invoking emotion in viewers, be that positive or negative. Allowing intuitive, raw and spontaneous emotion, gives us an opportunity to witness what we seldom look at in ourselves and others.
