| Introduction | I'm Finance Girl, an anonymous twenty-something blogger trying to get COMPLETELY out of debt within five to six years so my husband and I can change careers. Since purchasing our house in 2005 (and acquiring all the mortgage and non-mortgage debt that goes along with it), we've paid off $50,000 in debt and increased our net worth by $70,000. I'm hoping this blog will motivate me to pick up the pace further. I started getting interested in personal finance when I interned at a credit union during college, and everything I know about money I learned through my own research and the school of hard knocks. |
