| Introduction | I'm engaged in the Christian Science healing ministry and have an appreciation for the visual arts. In my photo gallery blog, I explore the visual world of light and shadow, while in my healing arts blog I ponder the colors and qualities of love, for as poet A.E. Hamilton puts it, “...comforters are needed much of Christ-like touch.” My spiritual sensibilities are nurtured by my study and practice of Christian Science, which inspires me to bring "into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ," as St. Paul admonishes in a letter to the Corinthians. Whatever your own background, I trust you'll find something in each post that resonates with you and invites reflection. My other loves? Journalism, folk dancing, nature, intercultural exploration and family. My husband and I currently live in West Virginia. |
