Introduction	I am a thankful WAHM with an amazingly supportive husband, Craig, and mama to Mary Helen (my "Girl Power" girl), Liam ("The Little Prince"), and Seamus ("Shea Shea"). Hand-painting playsilks has been a way for me to get back in touch with my artistic side . . . and my dreams. Children immediately know what these colorful, airy toys are for and find countless uses for them with their imaginations. As capes, head scarfs, gowns, canopies, playscapes, blankets . . . for peek-a-boo, tea parties, or forts . . . hand-painted playsilks are versatile and portable. Each playsilk is hand painted with water based, non-toxic permanent silk paints onto 8mm Habotai silk with rolled edges. You will find images from the whimsical to ethereal. I find silk painting creates surprising and amazing results every time.
