| Introduction | Most days you can find Katy, my alter ego, & I tramping through estate sales, thrift shops, salvage yards & tag sales looking for that perfect old timeworn treasure. Nothing is more exciting than finding an old discarded piece that we can bring back to life with a little scrub & some paint. My life, separate from Katy, is spent at home in the horse country of central florida with my partner, Bob, & our 2 best friends Toby (a beagle mix) & Butch (a sort of gumpy little bull dog). I have always been a thrifter. I have owned two brick & mortars in Califorina. I have set up & managed three separate thrift shops for Hospice, Humane Society & Island Coast Aids Foundation.
