| Introduction | Married (20+ years), one son (currently attending Texas Tech with the goal of becoming a physical therapist) and one daughter who will be a junior in high school. Our animal inventory currently stands at three dogs and two (going on ?) little creatures that hop. Our critter count has actually been significantly reduced. I have now taught for seven years--five at the high school level (primarily math, some English) and two at the middle school where I (literally it seems) now reside. I teach 7th & 8th grade reading, MTA and a Voyager Reading class--busy, busy ! |
| Interests | My hobbies are reading, gardening/landscaping, home improvement/construction projects--the largest being a 40 foot long carport and taking staff development classes. I also love to travel, but won't be doing alot of that until my kids are out of college--only six years to go ! I also love singing and dancing--both doing and watching. |
| Favorite Movies | My favorites are usually action/humor movies such as National Treasure, Armageddon, Die Hard, The Librarian, etc. I also like warm & fuzzy/humor (such as Sister Act) and Sci-Fi or Futuristic movies such as Star Trek. You will never find me at a slasher movie. |
| Favorite Music | A wide variety--pop/top 40, country, jazz, classical, some rock. Anything that inspires singing, dancing or relaxing. |
| Favorite Books | I don't know that I can narrow this down much either. Sci-Fi, mystery, fantasy, historical romance. I really enjoyed the Harry Potter and Twilight Books and I can't wait for the next in the Eragon series. It's too bad the movie didn't measure up to the book on that last one. |
