Introduction It all began with Molto Mario on the Food Network in college. That is when I really became interested in food as well as all things italian. It came to a head in 2005 when I spent 10+ months at Italcook in the castelli di Jesi studying, followed by apprenticeships at two restaurants, one in Nusco, province of Avellino and the other in Montecarotto, province of Ancona. A career in food never panned out for me, but my love of Italy and my appreciation for cuisines worldwide keep me on a constant journey of education and experimentation.
