Introduction	Beyond Copenhagen (BCPH) is a pan Indian coalition of around 50 organizations and networks working on issues of environmental and climate justice and sustainable development. Through our interventions we have been engaging on India's domestic response to climate crisis and its position in international climate negotiations process under the UNFCCC. We have tried to attract global attention on agriculture and food security in climate change negotiations and the state responsibility and accountability for ensuring justice of climate victims. Partners of the Collective bring with them varying experience and expertise, ranging from grassroots intervention with farmers and peasant communities, to engaging with policy makers and the polity- through policy analysis and advocacy, engaging with the media by sensitizing and capacity building of stakeholders and undertaking documentation and scientific exploration on climate change phenomena, sustainable agriculture and food security. Our focus of work emanates from the understanding that there is an urgency to work in COLLABORATIVE ACTION on development concerns emerging out of climate change and climate crisis, thereof.
