| Introduction | Welcome, you can call me Lilykat. Some things about me..I love my family, my cats, my dogs, my friends, books, movies, and Coca-Cola. People who know me feel like they never really know me. I'm very guarded but when you crack my shell, I will be your best friend. I love to laugh. I daydream way too much. I think that crying cleanses the soul. I like walking barefoot on the beach when it rains. I think we are all trying to be the best we can be and no human is perfect. I'm just trying to live my life and catch up on the time I lost due to my illness, mistakes and all. And did I mention that I have Lupus? Lupus: Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body (skin, joints and/or organs inside the body). This is basically your body attacking itself. I'm trying not to let this disease keep me from living. Lupus has changed my life, but it did not end my life. |
| Interests | I like animals. I like gardening. I like to sew. I LOVE cooking. I dislike warmer weather. I like to be cold- an excuse to cuddle! I like crafts. Visiting new places. I love to sing. Cats: I read all I can on them. I have three of my own but I also love reading about a variety of subjects. Video Games! love those RPGs like Silent Hill, 24, and online games like Silkroad and The Sims. Sudoku is cool and I like puzzles that you construct. I like visiting places like the Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades and La Placita Olvera. oh! and museums are always fun. Travel, learning new things, staying up to date on current events, and learning all I can about Lupus, medications, research, and raising awareness for Lupus. |
