| Introduction | For more than a decade now, the Internet, and especially eBay, have revolutionized the world of Chinese antiques. Enormous quantities of ancient artifacts are offered online. The overwhelming majority of these originate from Mainland China. The quality, and even the 'authenticity' are often impressive, if one takes the time to sift through the awesome tide of offerings.
